If you run multiple websites, Siteground is the most cost-effective. You can host unlimited websites for the cost of one month on most other services. Their customer service is superb and available 24/7. Backups are included. They’re what I use for my business.
Elementor Pro for WordPress
From $4.99 Per Month
I use Elementor to build all WordPress websites for clients. It’s intuitive and easy to use, and allows me control over every single element of your website. If WordPress feels intimidating to you, it may be because you haven’t tried Elementor yet.
Squarespace Hosting + Builder
From $16.00 Per Month
Squarespace is my most requested platform for a reason: it’s the easiest to use, and you can add on email marketing, online courses, and more, all within one platform. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s reliable with solid customer service.

It’s easy to get overwhelmed with the many membership plugins there are for WordPress, but Memberpress is the most robust for the best price. You can make truly beautiful online courses as well as manage them with ease.

While Squarespace does have a built-in option for online courses, it’s substantially more expensive than Memberpress. If cost is a factor or you prefer more hands-on customer service, check out Memberpress.
Thrivecart
From $700 Lifetime
In the “cost effective” category, Thrivecart wins with one low-cost lifetime subscription (at least for now). You could even get away without having a website if you primarily sell on social platforms with their nice checkout pages.

Even though Flodesk has recently ended its low cost for unlimited subscribers, it’s still reasonably priced and a pleasure to use in creating beautiful emails. It is newer so may lack integrations with some services, but Zapier may be able to create connections you need.
Kit

Kit (the artist formerly known as Convertkit) is still rated as the #1 in deliverability, which is the most important factor when it comes to email marketing. They also have some cool networking features where you can pay for other creators to promote you and vice versa.
Beehiiv
From $43 Per Month
The newest kid on the block, but they have some incredible features like referral programs for your customers and paying for promotion from other creators. This service can also potentially replace a traditional website if you have a simple product business model or newsletter subscription service.

“Where has this been all my life?” is what I said when I found Mogul. The perfect personal CRM app, this helps you keep track of contacts, including notes on them and reminders to follow up. It’s perfect for a solo entrepreneur who doesn’t need a full-blown CRM.
TickTick

This year, I broke up with Asana for TickTick. The interface is more fun, and I like tracking daily habits alongside my longer project goals. Its Pomodoro and Countdown features are also incredibly handy, plus you can use it to store information, similarly to Notion.

FLO Living
I owe my hormonal health to pioneer Alisa Vitti, who I have been privileged enough to work with since 2005. If you’re a woman, read her books, take her supplements, use her app, and basically do whatever she says to keep your health humming no matter what age you are.
Ladder Workouts
After a LOT of workout app trial and error, I have been using Ladder for almost a year now, specifically Maia Henry on Team Define. Don’t be fooled by the low intensity; you’ll see major muscle definition soon, especially in your abs. Plus working out at home for the cost of Netflix? Yes, please.
